In the heart of Hollywood, the Chinese Mann theatre played host to the Hollywood premiere of the low budget drama/thriller Powerless.

"It was an amazing experience", said Matt Wilkins (lead actor) "Two years ago when we were filming Powerless in a small farmhouse in Wales I never dreamed that we would one day be screening the film here in the famous Chinese theatre!"

There was a real buzz before the screening and afterwards audiences stayed long after the film had ended to talk to Director Matt Daniels about his amazing film.

"We were blown away by the responses to the film, the audience loved it!" said Director Matt Daniels, "We also met some great people who had come to the screening specifically based on the positive feedback we received from other festivals. We are hopeful that the contacts we have made here today will propel the film further forward in Hollywood”.

The two Matt’s remain in Hollywood for the rest of the week to continue promoting the film and to attend the FAIF Film Festival Awards Gala on Friday Night.
